Approaching 30 years experience as a Clinical Supervisor, offering supervision to both individuals and groups, including the Supervision of Supervision.
Experience with supervisees working in a wide range of settings, from private practice to public sector organisations, supporting practitioners trained in a variety of orientations.
Since 2004 Gwion has occupied the role of Clinical Director with the Worcester Therapy Group, a psychotherapy service with over 30 Associate therapists. He is also founder member of a 1 year psychoanalytic & psychodynamic supervision training originally established in 2005, organised by the Severn & Thames Psychotherapy Network and based in Bristol. Gwion is also registered with UKCP as an Approved Supervisor.
In addition he has over 3 decades experience teaching aspects of Clinical and Counselling Psychology at HE level. For many years he has been a Lecturer in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at Coventry University, teaching at Doctorate and Post-graduate level for the past 20 years. He previously occupied the role of Counselling Lead on the Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling at Newman University Birmingham. He presents talks and workshops on various clinical topics on a regular basis (see Academic Talks section).
